I am fortunate that I don’t have to battle dyslexia. But as a writer, I need to be aware of how the written word comes across to those who are in that fight. In fact, I learned after a presentation that I’d alienated part of my audience because some of my slides had all-caps words. A kind man pointed out that, as a dyslexic, he couldn’t read those slides because the words appeared as just confusing blocks on the screen. Luckily, some thoughtful folk have worked out a font that just might be a weapon in the battle. Here’s an overview on Vimeo. Check it out!
I’ve been inspired by many people and events. I hope to share at least a little of that inspiration.
