No, I'm not a digital native, but I do believe that I've adopted technology fairly well. That said, I often find that, when I've got a writer's block, shifting from keyboard to pen and paper can better free my mind to the task at hand. Similarly, while I love the idea of being able to carry multiple books on one device, I miss the feel of turning pages when I read from my Kindle. Furthermore, I find that I have a harder time revisiting sections when I've read a long piece electronically than when I've read something in a printed book. So I was not surprised to learn that a study has revealed that students actually learn better from hard-copy textbooks than from online editions.
